We own an authentic Italian restaurant run by Simone. His speciality for 15 years as a chef in Italy means that you won’t be able to get a food quite like his in Sri Lanka. We offer a range of drinks from coffee, to locally brewed kombucha.

We locally source our creamy burrata and buffalo mozzarella from the north and our fresh vegetables locally and from the hill country.

Our Italian cheeses ,meats and even our flour are imported from Italy to ensure an authentic Italian experience.

We also provide free drinking water to all of our customers to help to reduce the burden of plastic waste.

We have a small number of chic guest bedrooms for you to relax in at Rise. A sumptuous breakfast will be served which can be tailored to your dietary requirements.

All dishes at Rise are super delicious! By far the best pizza here! My favorite is Gaia, but you have to try all of them without exception. An absolutely virtuoso chef!!! Great atmosphere, great service, every dinner here is special. Thank you, Rise team!

My favorite place to stay in Weligama! I can’t describe how much I love Rise. Everything was amazing😍 the best italian food, pizza with homemade vegan cheese was epic! And bruschetta omg! The most friendly staff ever! There is also cute little shop, so many beautiful things (local brands:)) Thank you everyone in this beautiful place and see you soon my friends❤️

This place was a real treat. The freshness of the food was noticeable. I had the Greta which was lovely. The kids menu is great they know just what kids like. As a veggie there is enough choice to visit more than once - something I will definitely be doing soon. I didn’t stay at this place so can’t comment on the rooms but the boutique attached has a lot of unique items which were very tempting. Sorry no photos too busy scoffing my pizza.

A cozy place with great people and good service. They are committed and help you with local recommendations. There's a delicious Italian restaurant on the first floor. It is run by the owner, who is Italian. You don't hear the restaurant on the second floor, where the rooms are. The rooms are nice and spacious. There's a main road in front of the house and a train behind it. It doesn't run after 10pm or again until 6am. It's a pleasant place to stay for a few nights.

Good pizza! We ordered for delivery through WhatsApp and it was an easy process and the pizza was delivered to our hotel quickly. It was quality ingredients and a fresh taste. The pizza was also a large size and enough food for 2 people!

This is my fifth time here and I just realized I have not post a review yet. This is one of the best pizzas in my whole life! Amazing dough, top quality ingredients, prepared just the way best pizza should be. Lime cake was a cherry on top of this delicious lunch. Thank you chefs and service we were in gastro heaven in Rise ❤️
